Your Trip
Everything you need to know before stepping aboard The Weapon. From what to pack to what to expect — we've got you covered.
Know Before You Go
We run three trip formats out of Ocean City. Each one is built to maximize your time on the fish.
Day Trip
Early morning departure, full day of fishing, return late afternoon. Perfect for canyon runs targeting tuna, marlin, and mahi.
Overnight 24hr
Depart early evening, fish through the night and next day. Ideal for swordfishing and extended canyon trips.
Overnight 36hr
Full morning departure, fish through the night, continue fishing the following day. The ultimate offshore marathon.
Pack Smart, Fish Hard
A little preparation goes a long way. Here's what to have in your bag when you hit the dock.
Sunscreen & Sunglasses
Reef-safe SPF 50+ and polarized sunglasses are highly recommended. The glare offshore is no joke.
Weather-Appropriate Clothing
Layers are key — mornings are cool, midday is hot. Pack rain gear just in case.
Soft-Soled Shoes
Non-marking, soft-soled shoes only. No black soles — they scuff the deck.
Camera
Waterproof or with a protective case. You'll want photos of the catch — and the memories.
Cooler for Your Catch
Bring a cooler with ice for your fillets. We also offer fish cleaning and can arrange shipping.
Seasickness Medication
Take it the night before if you're prone. Though our dual Seakeeper gyros handle 95% of the roll.
Food & Drinks
Pack your own, or upgrade to our All-Inclusive package — breakfast, lunch, and drinks provided.
A Good Attitude
Come ready to work. These fish fight hard, and so should you. Expect an unforgettable day.
Fuel the Fight
Don't worry about packing food — let us handle it. Our All-Inclusive packages cover meals and non-alcoholic drinks so you can focus on the fish. We contact you before your trip for dietary preferences and requests.
Comfort Isn't Optional
Worried about seasickness? Don't be. The Weapon is equipped with two Seakeeper gyroscopic stabilizers that eliminate up to 95% of boat roll. Whether it's your first trip or your hundredth, you'll stay steady, comfortable, and focused on the fight — not the waves.

Post-Trip Details
Fish Cleaning
Professional fish cleaning is available at the dock. Your catch will be filleted and bagged — ready for the cooler. We can also arrange vacuum sealing and shipping if needed.
Gratuity
Gratuity for the mate is customary and greatly appreciated. The industry standard is 15–20% of the trip cost. Our crew works incredibly hard to put you on fish and ensure you have a great time.
